MEDIATION INTERN - What attracted me to mediation was the resolution of conflict. It makes me happy to help people to resolve their issues in their lives that they cannot come to an agreement with alone. I love it because it is different from law - there’s no opinion on either side just neutrality. I am hoping to broaden my experience with mediation due to there being different cases to go through with many different personalities as well.

TOURNAMENT COORDINATOR INTERN - I am a second-year studying Psychology at Lehigh University. I particularly enjoy executing events and working with others to reach a common goal. Teen Mediation International provides a space for me to combine my passions into something that positively impacts others.

PODCAST PRODUCER INTERN - I am a senior at Lehigh University studying Political Science and Marketing. I live in Wyndmoor, PA, outside of Philadelphia and I’m a proud Philly sports fan! I’m looking forward to working with Teen Mediation International, specifically being able to design and produce a mediation podcast!

MEDIATION SPECIALIST INTERN - I’m Nimna Perera from Colombo,Sri Lanka. As a Mediation Specialist Intern at TMI, I bring a wealth of experience from my background as a Teacher, Entrepreneur, and Law Student. Having participated in mediation tournaments and gained expertise in alternative dispute resolution, I am passionate about fostering effective conflict resolution strategies.
I joined the TMI team for a summer internship because of my passion for education and a belief in the importance of teaching today’s youth about mediation and communication to foster understanding in today’s tumultuous landscape. I have enjoyed working with the entire TMI team and learned so much while also contributing meaningfully to the team.
